Part of the DWA network of agencies, we started out of the spare room of our CEO’s house in 1994. In those early years, we had one client (still with us today). Meeting planning for the biopharmaceutical industry was our bread and butter.
As the business grew, AVAIL, a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, became its own agency in 2017. Today, we serve a diverse portfolio of clients, from top pharmaceutical companies to trade associations, all of it driven by a mission to think outside the checkbox, understand our clients’ needs, and customize services that accomplish their goals.

With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare marketing, education, and communications preceded by 10 years in senior management with Fortune 500 companies, Deborah is highly recognized in the industry for her visionary leadership and innovation and the success of her entrepreneurial endeavors. PharmaVOICE magazine readers named Deborah one of the 100 Most Inspiring People in the Life-Sciences Industry. Deborah serves as a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. She is Past President of the Board of Directors for St. Vincent Carmel Hospital, a member of the Board of Directors for the Diversity Alliance for Science, Inc. (DA4S), and a board member for The Alliance—A Forum of Indiana Business Leaders. She is also a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. In 2014, Deborah received the Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman Award, which recognizes women business leaders who exemplify the spirit of success, teamwork, and leadership.
Jeri Moody, CMP
Executive Director, Meeting Planning & Speaker Bureau Services
With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Jeri oversees the day-to-day functions and resources required to execute successful programs with a focus on maximizing staff utilization as well as assessing and assigning projects accordingly; all while keeping processes and regulations on the forefront. She represents AVAIL to our external clients and ensures that all vendors and subcontractors are fully compliant with regulations.
Jeri graduated from the University of Evansville (Indiana) with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and a Minor in Business Administration. She has been designated a Certified Meeting Professional since 2011.
